Zoya Dannii; the older sister
Zoya Dannii, what a beauty. This nail polish was released with the 2011 spring collection Intimate by Zoya. At first I thought it was an odd fellow amongst the others in this romantic collection. A sparkling purple polish with glass flecks. But once applied on the nails I get it.
This is truly a romantic and sophisticated polish. I'm a fan of purples, and this does not look like any other purple nail polish in my collection. I have seen tons of lavendar pastell polishes, and as many dark electrical purples. But this is something in between. Zoya Dannii is much darker than a pastell, but still manages to be quite soft in the apparence.
The family
Dannii has the same DNA as Zoya Faye from the 2011 summer collection Sunshine. They have much in common, the same purple base with the same sparkling glow. But if Faye is the teenage sister going out clubbing on the weekends, Dannii is the more mature older sister. And I just love this family.
The formula? Just perfect, as always when it comes to Zoya.

Jag gillade inte alls Dannii, tyckte hon var tråkig. Hade förväntat mig mycket mer, men förstod inte alls hajpen när jag väl hade lackat med det.
Ja, det är fascinerande att man kan tycka så olika. Jag tycker Dannii var riktigt läcker.
